This self-directed Guide & Foundations Course is a mini introduction to the works of Freebirth for Awakened Fathers, called Freebirth Foundations for Awakened Fathers: A Guide to Conscious Birth and Awakened Fatherhood.

This foundations introduction is separate to the larger 8-week module-based program. However, it can be experienced on its own or alongside the full extended program.

The Details & Why I Created This:

As a traditional birth-witness, a midwifery teacher, and mother of ten children, Yolande's mission in life is to inspire women to take birth into their own hands, to inspire men to support their wives in joyful family birth, and to share the life-changing beauty and power of birth with the world. 

With her beloved husband, Lee, at her side, she has travelled the path of freebirth eight times, and Lee has been a steadfast supporter of her decision to birth their babies in peace and power in the sanctuary of their home.

What Yolande knows to be profoundly  true is that birth is one of life’s most profoundly transformative experiences, yet it is often approached with fear, domination, control, and violence in modern society. This is unfortunate (to say the least) because is not simply a biological process; it is a relational, emotional, and spiritual experience, requiring trust, collaboration, and reverence for the sacred roles of both mothers and fathers. Understandably, given the cultural burden of fear that has become so normalized, many fathers, especially, are afraid of freebirth, and hesitant to condone a practice that is imbued with such trepidation.

In this short, self-directed PDF download with accompanying 25-50 min videos, we'll explore how fear need not be a barrier to reaping the benefits of freebirth, which include claiming and embodying your role as a conscious, awakened father and the leader of your family. Freebirth is an initiation not just for mothers, but for fathers as well. In claiming sovereign birth, fathers express and establish leadership, masculinity, and true intimacy with their partners.

This foundational guide is a call to return to the natural, spiritual, and biological truth of birth, particularly in the context of marriage and partnership, especially for men who want to embody awakened fatherhood—those who wish to support their partner in birth while stepping into their unique masculine role with integrity, strength, and love.
