I was 19 years old when I became pregnant with my first baby.

This was before I had fully extricated myself from the medical industrial complex, and I was told, after I miscarried that first baby, that I was rh-.

This meant (so I was told) that if I became pregnant with an rh+ baby, my body could produce antibodies that could attack the next baby I became pregnant with, leading to that child being born with “rh disease” which could cause anemia, jaundice, and in severe cases, brain damage, heart failure, or even death.

The doctor told me that I would need a shot of a substance called “rhogam” or “winrho” to prevent these antibodies from forming.

But I knew instinctively that I was never going to inject my body with this substance (which I discovered was an aggregated blood product mixed with additional potentially harmful preservatives and adjuvants), and I was at peace with the potential risk, especially since there was no risk to that first baby.

I did, however, decide to have my baby’s blood type tested after birth.

I knew that if my baby was also rh-, like me, none of this would even be an issue.

But what I discovered is that my baby’s blood type was *not* the same as mine—he was rh+ like his father.

I then decided to be tested myself, to see whether or not I had been “sensitized” during his birth.

In other words, I wanted to discover whether or not my baby’s blood system had mixed with mine. This “mixing” would mean that I had been “sensitized,” and that my subsequent babies would indeed be “at risk” of suffering from “rh disease,” according to the medical establishment.

To my surprise and dismay, the test came back positive—I had been “sensitized.” And I was told that I should consider ensuring that I didn’t get pregnant again, but if I did, my baby and I would need to be continuously monitored.

This sounded a little extreme to me, so I began to research the issue deeply (as I always do).

What I found, was a VERY elaborate, labyrinthine rabbit hole of myth, mythology, esoteric lore, alien theories—from the notion that people with RH- blood are alien hybrids, lost Atlanteans, the descendants of royalty, or that we're the product of genetic hybrids. Some believe people with RH- blood possess hypersensititivies, extra-sensory capacities, higher intelligence (I'll take it ;) ha)--or that we're time-travellers with special immunities.

Conspiracy theories aside, I also discovered vague, highly outdated, deeply unscientific theories and shoddy "research" upon which the entire foundation of the anti-D (rhogam/winrho) racket is based. 

After deep spiritual contemplation and inquiry, I resolved that if I were to get pregnant again after the birth of my first baby, I would allow my body to be the metric of my wellness.

I decided that, instead of outsourcing my authority to medical professionals who had already decided (predicted!) that my pregnancies would be "high risk," I would focus on my own attunement to embodiment--my overall health, my nourishment, my relationship with God, and my connection to my baby.

Sure enough, I did get pregnant again, two years after the birth of my first child.

And I opted out of the system entirely.

I said "No thank you" to ANY anti-D at any point during my pregnancies, I refused all ultrasounds (as always) and I decided--despite having been told that I was sensitized--and I chose to completely ignore the doctors who told me that my baby would likely be born with severe jaundice and/or anemia, and that I was gambling with his life by proceeding with a pregnancy without any monitoring, surveillance, or the injection of mysterious substances. 

Somehow, miraculously, my baby was born perfectly healthy at 42 weeks' gestation--with zero sign whatsoever of any problems. 

Out of curiosity, I tested his blood type (on my own, independently, which every mother can do outside of the system), and he too was RH+. 

That was over 20 years ago. I went on to have 10 babies in total (and right now I'm 44 years old, and pregnant with my 11th baby). 

I have received no rhogam or anti-D, and all of my children are perfectly healthy (and only two out of 10 of them are also RH- like me). In fact, my kids are astonishingly resilient, intelligent, energetic, and balanced.

Why? How? And should you make the same choices I have if you too are RH negative?
